Vincent Viriot Demo Reel 2012
What would have happened if the 80s started just now? You might find the answer here! Vincent Viriot combines retro aesthetics with the latest in VFX and the result is simply astounding. This is certainly one of the most surprising and creative showreels I’ve seen all year and it’s absolutely worth watching.

Character animation lifts the spirits and Geoffrey Godet has a nice showreel to prove this point. It’s short and fun, take a look!

GKaster aka Bright Photon aka Pierre Magnol hasn’t released a showreel in a while, but his 2010 demoreel is still absolutely worth watching. It has a very distict look and the overall production value is quite fantastic. Great music, great visuals and great art direction make this one a pleasure to watch.

Have some real footage for a change! I couldn’t help but love Romaric Croisile’s cinematography: it’s clean, smart and overall beautiful. I’d bet on a background in photography, judging from the framing and overall picture-design. Great stuff all around, you’ll definitely enjoy it. let me see »

Jean-Philippe from Paris sent us this beautiful cinematography showreel. The titles at the beginning make you want to gauge your eyes out, but the footage that follows is really worth it.

French director Marc Fouchard sent in his 2010 showreel. It’s the typical french mixture of cheeky humor, beautiful shots and overall attention to detail. It just feels a little short, we certainly could’ve watched more of this.

Olivier Blaecke Hard-Fast-Reel Summer 2011
Hot on the heels of the last showreel we posted here follows another one from France. This time Olivier Blaecke shows of his conceptual and artistic skills in this fast and furious showreel from 2011. Apart from the competent motion graphics you will also find some cool ideas for showreels in general in here. It’s very solid work and I dig the soundtrack as well.

Finally some motion graphics! Raphaël Mechet is a “multidisciplinary creative mind” based in France, working as a freelance creative, digital film-maker & motion graphic designer. There are many cool indeas in his showreel and you can obviously never go wrong with “Welcome to the jungle” by Guns ‘n Roses.

Walter Ego Showreel Digital 2011
The bar for webdesign-showreels has just been set considerably higher. Digital design agency Walter Ego from France just sent in their latest showreel and I am stunned. You really have to see it in motion to appreciate it.
