Matt_Kleiner_2011

While we wait for more mindblowing motion-graphics entries we can’t help but notice all the amazing filmed material out there. Matt Kleiner from California comes on strong with some very clever cinematography in his 2011 showreel and I am pretty sure you will be as mesmerized as we were. We liked this so much in fact that we now added the new “cinematography” tag to more closely match showreels centered around fantastic camera and lighting work.

Actually filming real stuff is en vogue again, and Max Tsui know all about it. He is a freelance director of photography and sent us this beautiful demoreel.

You might want to wait for a quite moment to watch this one. Miguel de Olaso, or Macgregor as he calls himself, is a director currently residing in Madrid and all around interesting guy. His reel is nothing short of breathtaking and already a classic among directors and anyone interested in framing and lighting amazing shots. Prepare to be amazed.

(And a word of warning to our American users: it contains brief nudity and could be considered not safe for work)

Now here is something you don’t see often: a showreel strictly for film/video-production. No motion-graphics, no cgi, just straight footage. And what footage it is! Flatlight Films from Finland have created  the best showreel for film/video I have seen by now. If you need some inspiration this is definitely one to watch.
