The underdog, the small studio fighting for respect and acceptance. We can’t help but like them. Take a look at this beautiful little showreel from Argentinian studio Pudú Pudú: it has this certain raw creativity you don’t see in the highly polished works of big studios anymore. And you can feel the absolute will to make animation, not just for money, but for the sake of it.

Webshocker, a web design agency from Slovenia, takes the presentation of web-work in a showreel to new hights. It also shows to continuing trend of fusing intereactive applications with motion graphics. This is some extremely smooth work and should be interesting for any web-centric or cross-media agency.

What do motion graphics with a distinct feminine touch look like? If you have been asking yourself this pressing question look no further than Carys Banks’ showreel. In her own words:

“Im a 20 year old student studying Visual Effects and Motion Graphics in Glamorgan Artium. Im in my 3rd year and will graduating in a few months. Im really enjoy creating hand crafted designs for my work, this then allowed me to fuse together a lot of different media in my work.”

If that is not potential I don’t know what is.

Fraser Davidson sent in his new showreel (our first with the 2011 tag!) and his work only keeps getting better. He delivers quite the punch and has just the right dynamic style for his many clients from the sports & games business. Watch it and enjoy the energetic vibe and great soundtrack.
