Ian Hubert has one of the ugli­est homepages I have ever seen. His VFX-work, how­ever, is a com­pletely dif­fer­ent story. It’s a true labor of love and very impress­ive. Most sur­pris­ingly, all 3D-elements were cre­ated with Blender, the open source 3D-animation kit you can down­load right here. I have never seen a bet­ter example of the artist doing the work, and not the tool.
